The man who served God as well as he could! Always helped others, worked at the FUMC serving as Methodist Men President, supporting anyone who he could help and always praising God! He was willing to do whatever he could to show God’s Love! Now he joins the Heavenly cloud of witness to God’s Glory. I was privileged to know him. Bill will be remembered Always! ❤️😔

I remember Uncle Bill fondly, always with a big smile, a twinkle in his eye and causing a little bit of mischief. He was ‘photo bombing’ before it became a thing. Sending my love and a virtual hug to Mary, Pam and Miles.

Bill was a good person. Several years ago my family was going through a very tough time and bill came to me at a men’s breakfast and gave me a check for $200 to pay my utilities. It was an act of kindness I will never forget! Heaven is a better place today!

Bill was a wonderful person. We knew him well at Blue Springs UMC. Our children grew up together. Bill once sent a nice note to us about how well we were raising our kids and, I will never forget his kindness? This world is better because of him. So sorry for his family’s loss!

Many many fond memories with Mr. Bill - as he worked with our youth group, and then as the loving husband of my friend & fellow Gospel Choir member, Princess Mary. Bill was ALWAYS welcoming and genuinely cared how you were doing. I am lifting you all in prayer, that comfort & peace is yours!

Gayle and I are so sorry for Bill's family's loss. We all have lost a friend and fellow Methodist Man. I will never forget the conversations Bill and I had about just about everything. I treasured his advice and encouragement. See you again one of these days!

We met Bill when we were students in seminary. He worked with us with the youth and was so dedicated to the Church and the congregation. I never met anyone who smiled as much as Bill Mooney. His warmth and care was evident to everyone he greeted on Sunday mornings. I know he will be missed by many.

Rev Holly Wood

I was associated with Bill through the Scouting (SMS) for the conference. As Director of SMS, Bill was always very helpful to me and went way beyond the call to help and take interest in the youth. He was always by my side when I needed him. He will be sincerely missed. God Bless you Brother Bill!
