Remembering Howard “Dennis” Moore ……
H. Dennis Moore, beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, went home to be with his savior on Sunday, July 18, 2021. He was born on March 17, 1951 in Independence, Missouri to Howard and Phyllis Moore. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Moore; sisters, Sharon (Mike) O’Connor, and Kathleen Moore and 21 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Wilson Moore and his sister, Cheryl Lynn Moore. He had several lifelong friends in Kansas City, Missouri and in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he lived for many years. Dennis was a decorated Vietnam veteran, in active duty from 1969 to 1971. He graduated from Raytown South High School and earned an associate degree in medical technology from Penn Valley Community College. He attended GlenHaven Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Kansas City Missouri. Dennis was an avid reader, particularly the Bible, Christian and world history books. The primary focus of his entire life was his relationship with God whom he faithfully served. Dennis loved to keep friends and family laughing with his ability to tell a great story or joke. He will be missed.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30AM, Monday, July 26 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; 10:30AM graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
