Larraine Dian Moore

Larraine Dian Moore, 72, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2019, at North Kansas City Hospital with loved ones at her side.

A service celebrating Larraine's life will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, September 13, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Kansas City.

Larraine was born in New York City (Manhattan). She grew up in Camden, SC and relocated to Stamford, CT at age 14. She met William Gardner Moore, Sr. in 1982 and their family moved to the Kansas City area in 1985 when Bill was transferred with Ford Motor Company to the Claycomo plant. Bill and Larraine were united in marriage in 1986.

Preceding Larraine in death are her father, Joseph Booker; mother, Bernice (Jefferson) McKeithen; brother, Joseph "Junior" Booker; and son, Raymond Moore.

Along with her husband Bill, survivors include children, Quadra Barnes, Thomas Ray Barnes, Jr. (Tiyada), Cassandra Alam (Sham), Ruqaiyah Slaughter (Antonnio), William Moore, Jr., Dawn Dingle (Bernie) and Lacreatia Moore. She also leaves many grandchildren, Zion Cullen, Zoie Cullen, Mychael-Michelle Barnes, Keyonie-Layonie Barnes, Tiyatre Armstrong, Kiashawn Miere, Heaven O'Neal, Malia Alam, Angel Akana, Serenity Alam, Christian Alam, as well as her many grandchildren from Ray, William, Dawn and Keyshia.

Larraine also leaves her sisters, Jacqueline Booker, Fanny McKeithen and Deborah Blakney; niece, Melinda Booker; nephews, Rance Blakney and Christopher White; as well as many other family members and friends.
