Jr. Walter J. Morrisey

Walter J. Morrisey, 60, passed peacefully in his home on June 27th, 2020 surrounded by family. Walt was preceded in death by his mother, father and son Zach, leaving behind the family dog Milo. Walt proudly served in the Army for four years stationed in Baumholder, Germany and recently retired in April from the National Guard after 17 years of service. Walt loved Elvis Presley, Chiefs football, fishing, and could watch NASCAR all day. Walt battled cancer for a long time finally succumbing to the illness and the heartbreak of losing his only son, Zachary. Walt was a wonderful father, brother and uncle to a big family of 5 sisters: Tammy (Marty), Kerry (Robert), Loretta, Mary and Laura (Mark); and also 11 nieces and nephews. Walt was taken from us too quickly but we know you've found Zachary so you can rest in peace. We love you dearly Walt and Zach look over us all.
