Lena, born on May 3, 1952 in San Diego, CA, was a wife, mother, sister, co-worker and friend to so many people. She was a devoted wife of 50 years, marring the love of her life in 1972. She raised two wonderful children and was always their biggest cheerleader. Be it sports, band or Jr. ROTC, Lena was there to support them. She had the privilege to watch her two grandson’s grow into handsome, smart, and athletic young men. She didn’t miss a baseball, football, soccer, or basketball game.
Lena was well loved and adored by her family and friends. She was one of a kind, worked hard her whole life and was just as funny as she was feisty. She loved Jesus, her church family, playing bunco, reading romance novels but most of all she loved her family and friends. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. Our hearts are broken knowing that she is no longer with us on earth, but we are blessed to know that she rests in the presence of Jesus.
