Neathy Woods

Neathy Woods, 85, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on February 22, 2024 at Hidden Lake Care Center in Raytown, Missouri.  Funeral Services will be 10:30a.m., Saturday, March 9 at Park Lawn Funeral Chapel, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64138.  Visitation will be from 9:00a.m.-10:30a.m.

Neathy Woods was born December 5, 1938 in Portland, Arkansas.  Neathy previously worked for Asner’s Building Materials, Armco Steel and Union Wire Rope where he was a Supervisor before retiring in 2005.  He was married to Lillie Mae (Morgan) Woods, and was a loving father to Gwendolyn, Eric, DeWayne and Erlinda, who preceded him in death along with a grandson Steffon.  He is also survived by two sisters, Jennie Robinson and Ruthie Robinson (Marble).  He will be sadly missed by grandson Darien Woods and granddaughters Tatyana Woods and Brittany Aldridge, five great-granddaughters, one great-grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.
