Oren H. Nesbitt

Oren H. Nesbitt, 82, of Osceola, Mo formerly of Kansas City passed away June 30, 2019 at his home. Visitation beginning at 11:30am, Tuesday, July  16, 2019, followed by services at 1pm at the Park Lawn Chapel. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.

Oren was born March 1, 1937 to Louis H. and Edna M. (Phelps) Nesbitt in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked for General Motors for many years before retiring.

Oren was a former member of the Clinton, MO Masonic Lodge and the Ararat Shrine Temple where he served as Grand Marshal of the Provost. He attended the Church on the Rock in Lee's Summit, MO.

Oren loved fishing, golf, dominos, wii and playing cards. He enjoyed being with his family including his Masonic Lodge and Shrine Temple brethren. He never knew a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Edna; wife Bertha; 3 children Terri Sue Nesbitt, Willis Dean Nesbitt and Samuel John Nesbitt; 2 sisters Shirley Snow and Marilyn Jones; 3 brothers Raymond Nesbitt, Howard Nesbitt and Jackie Nesbitt; a grandson Chad Allen Nesbitt and great grandson Ysauro Griggs.

Survivors include his children, Sandy Frey (Leonard), Orenetta Beutler (Richard), Robin Lee (Joe Moreno, III), Michael Nesbitt and James Nesbitt (Mary Morrow); 26 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and his brother, Larry Nesbitt.

Visitation begins at 11:30am followed by services at 1:00pm Tuesday, July 16 at the Park Lawn Chapel, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, KCMO. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
