Lorraine Mae Ohl

Lorraine Mae Ohl, 99, a longtime Liberty resident, passed away August 5, 2019, at Pleasant Valley Manor. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am, followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am, on Saturday, August 10, at St. James Catholic Church in Liberty. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. James Building Fund.

Lorraine was born May 1, 1920, in Manchester, OK, the eldest of two children of William and Emma (Atwell) Schmitz. Along with her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Ohl; son, Walter "Butch" Ohl and his wife Betty; and brother, William Schmitz, Jr.

Lorraine was a member of St. James Catholic Church for 44 years, and was a member of its over 50's Club, Altar and Rosary societies.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Ohl (Bertha) and William Ohl (Nancy, deceased); seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a fifth due in March, 2020.

Pallbearers will be Robert Ohl, Aaron Ohl, Travis Hill, Lyle McNeal, Austin McNeal and Sean Gilbreath. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler McGill, Mark Ohl, Todd Miller and Tom Coffman.
