Clarence H. Jr. Overholtzer

Clarence Howard "Junior" Overholtzer, Jr., 69, of Liberty, MO, passed away October 11, 2022, at his home.

Junior was born January 17, 1953, in Kirksville, MO, the eldest of two children of Clarence H. and Frances Lane Overholtzer. His father preceded him in death.   Junior grew up in Liberty, MO, and graduated from Liberty High School in 1971. He worked as a Teamster over-the-road truck driver and later worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Ruby Overholtzer; children, Travis Overholtzer (Kristina), Matthew Overholtzer (Jennifer) and Katie Walker (Tyler); grandchildren, Lane, Paige and Aubrey. He also leaves his mother and her husband, Frances and Harley Wahl; sister, Kathy Injenari (Mohsen); nieces, Donli Jo Overfelt and Mitra Injenari (Adam); as well as other family members and friends.

Private services. Burial will be at Middlepoint Cemetery in Mercer, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
