Dawn Michelle Parkhurst, 55, passed away September 19, 2022.  Dawn was preceded in death by her brother John W. Parkhurst, II and her grandfather Gale Emery.  She is survived by her mother Jacqulyn Parkhurst-LaForte; grandmother Erma Emery; aunt Michelle Schmidt and her husband Will; uncle Ed Parkhurst and wife Jenny; cousin Laurel Boles and her husband James; cousin Alisha Emery; cousin Kayla Dawn Laffoon and her husband Chris; sister Georgette Ahneman and her husband Craig; sister Rachel Lang and her husband Chris; many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Harbor Hospice.

Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Saturday, October 1 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.

My dear sister Dawn it breaks my heart that I can't be there today I wanted to say goodbye I remember so many good times with you and our family. It breaks my heart to know that you've left this world so soon and you should have been here longer thank you for the wonderful memories and I will always love you big sis say hello to John and Jody and all the loved ones that went before.
