Patricia Ann Ellis

           Patricia Ann Ellis, 84, of Kearney, MO, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023, at Liberty Hospital with family at her side.

          Pat was born December 20, 1938, in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Edward Nawrocki and Katherine Filozof Nawrocki.  She was united in marriage to Warren David Ellis on September 15, 1960, and they were blessed with three daughters, Kim, Karen and Kathy. 

          She was a wife, mother, and “Gram” to her six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  She owned and operated J-Bar-S Western Store in Kearney and spent many years at the Lake of the Ozarks entertaining friends and family and enjoying a Manhattan for happy hour.

          Along with her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Warren; grandson, Brandon Jacques; and great grandson, Karson Rodgers. 

          Survivors include her daughters, Kim Jacques (Ted), Karen Lovekamp (Kevin) and Kathy Ellis; grandchildren, Heather Buckman (Ryan), Stephanie Oliver, Jenni Palmer (Jake), Gunnar Lovekamp (Kailey), Rachel Rodgers and Brock Richardson (Ashlee); great grandchildren, Ellis, Charlotte, Peyton, Preslee, Jaxon, Miles, Makenna, Marley, Phoenix, Cora, and Nash; as well as other family members and friends.

          Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Pat’s life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 5, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO (816) 781-8228.  Burial will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.
