Patricia Ann Stockdale

Patricia Ann Stockdale, affectionately known as "Pat," has left us to join the big wrestling ring in the sky on October 3, 2023, at the age of 87. She was a force to be reckoned with, born on May 15, 1936, in Leavenworth, KS, and she certainly made her mark.

Patricia was a one-of-a-kind soul, a delightful mix of passion, stubbornness, kindness, and a heaping helping of ornery. She had a heart of gold and a love for cooking that could rival any celebrity chef. When she wasn't whipping up culinary masterpieces, Patricia could be found cheering on her favorite wrestlers or striking up a fierce competition on the bowling lanes.

In addition to her impressive skills in the kitchen and her uncanny knowledge of wrestling moves, Patricia was a devoted homemaker for the elderly. Her nurturing nature knew no bounds.

Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She is survived by her son, Vincil "VJ" J. Stockdale, her grandson Vincil J. Stockdale Jr., her granddaughter Ariana Kimberlie-Nicole Stockdale, her grandson Phoenix Alexander Stockdale, her granddaughter Alexi Austin (Forrest), her grandson Chris Stone, and her sister Rose Wilson (Don) and her brother Michael Brown along with many nieces and nephews.

She now joins her beloved husband, Van T. Stockdale, in the great beyond, where they can continue their eternal love story.

To honor Patricia's memory, a celebration of her life will take place at Park Lawn Funeral Home, located at 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138, United States. The time of the service is 1pm followed by dinner at 1713 W Wabash St., Olathe, KS 66061.  It's going to be a party like no other, filled with stories, laughter, and perhaps a wrestling match or two (just kidding!).

In lieu of flowers, Patricia's family kindly requests that contributions be made to Catholic Charities of Greater Kansas City-St Joseph. Let's keep her spirit of compassion alive by supporting this wonderful organization.
