Paul T. Voss, 80, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away November 13, 2023, at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital.
Paul was born March 5, 1943, in St. Anthony, Missouri, one of seven children of John Henry Voss and Antoinette “Nettie” (Lindenbusch) Voss. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Dolores Theresa Kliethermes on September 26, 1964, in Jefferson City, Missouri, and they are blessed with a daughter, Jeanne and two grandsons, Blaine and Isaac.
Paul retired as a Plant Manager for Frederick Manufacturing. He was a lifelong Catholic and member of Holy Family parish. Over the years, Paul loved spending time with his beagles outside and judging field trials. Paul traveled the world with Dolores. He enjoyed reading mystery novels, carefully archiving the books he read. He loved meeting his daughter for breakfasts and joining his grandsons for special occasions. Paul was their number one fan at their sporting events.
Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by brothers, Jerome Voss and Urban Voss. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dolores; daughter, Jeanne Werth (Andy); grandsons, Blaine Werth and Isaac Werth; siblings, Ben Voss, Charles Voss, Mary Murray and Mark Voss (Patsy); sister-in-law, Betty Voss; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by Mass of Christian burial at noon, on Monday, November 20, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th Street, Kansas City, MO. Following a meal at the church, graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm at the mausoleum in Resurrection Cemetery.
