Johnny William Pearson, 57, was born on December 26, 1964 to Delora Mae Bullock and John William Pearson.
Johnny received his education from the Kansas City Missouri School District. Johnny was a cook at Leawood Country Club and Baptist Medical Center until it closed.
Johnny moved to Cabot, Arkansas in 2006. He continued his employment with North Metro Medical Center as a cook. He later returned to Kansas City in 2015 where he was a cook at various retirement homes.
Johnny loved hanging out with his family and playing bid whist cards. He was the jokester of the family. He loved cooking for his family and others. His mother taught him how to make a special bread only he could make. Johnny loved to listen to the blues and his favorite artists were B.B. King and Steve Ray Vaughan.
Johnny departed this life on August 1, 2022 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Preceding in his death were both parents, maternal and paternal grandparents, one son Michael Anthony Shoats, a special daughter Kaylee Loffland, two brothers Ronald E. Whitley and Wallace D. Whitley, and one sister Ida Whitley.
He leaves to cherish one son Jerome L. Shoats, seven grandchildren Jada, Joi, Jerome Jr Shoats, Xavion Charleswell, Skylar Partee, Je’Shan Shoats and Allissiah Smith, and one special son Bryan Rouse. Also four brothers Rodney N. Pearson, Ricky N. Waller, Alfred K. Warfield III and Clifford Pearson, four sisters Vicky M. Rhodes, Peonca Thomas, Cevina (Dave) Ross and Lenora Pearson, a special niece Ty Nisha Lewis and great nephew Alijah Lewis, two nephews Tramaine E. and Edward E. Warfield, two nieces Jazel (Michael) Jones and Natalie Warfield, a friend / sister Tammy Thompson, a special friend Terry Loffland and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Monday, August 8 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
