Peggy Ermalinda Luchtefeld

Peggy Ermalinda (Lujan) Luchtefeld, 65, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. A visitation is scheduled from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at St. James Catholic Church, 309 S. Stewart Rd., Liberty, MO 64068. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri Northland. Peggy was born January 21^st 1958, in Santa Fe, NM. She graduated from high school in Santa Fe and moved onto to obtain her Nursing Degree. Her career as a nurse took her to Phoenix, Arizona where she met her knight in shining armor, Eric Luchtefeld. They were wed on February 9^th,1990 and later brought their two children into the world, Christina Pigg and Joseph Luchtefeld.

Peggy was well known for her loving and bright spirit that she shared with anyone that she encountered. Her grandbabies were her greatest joy and she loved to have them around. Peggy enjoyed taking trips with her husband, spending time with her gym buddies and family dinners with everyone around.

Peggy is survived by her mother, Erma Lujan; sisters Joann and Elaine(LeRoy); a brother Walter; her husband Eric; children Christina (Scott) and Joseph(Nicole); 6 grandchildren; as well as many dear family and friends.
