Denise Lorraine Pepper, 59, passed away Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 peacefully in her new home in Texas.

Denise was born in Kansas City, MO on November 16th, 1960, 10 minutes after her twin Dianne Francis Hovatter. Raised by her grandparents George Henry Kuechler, and Stella Naomi Kuechler, Denise spent most of her childhood in the Kansas City area and graduated from Raytown High School in 1979.

Denise’s dream from an early age was to be a wife, mother, and grandmother and she fully accomplished all these things. Denise made her family her number one and only priority in life. She was devoted to nurturing, helping, caring, and loving everyone in her family as much and as often as she possibly could. A natural born mother, it was no surprise that Denise’s true passion in life after her children was her 5 grandchildren, she loved and adored them all so very much.

Denise welcomed everyone she came in contact with, friends, family, even strangers with open arms. Everyone was accepted by her with kindness, understanding, and support no matter what the circumstances. Her spunky since of humor and outspoken personality were second to none and she will live on and truly be missed forever in the hearts of the ones she touched.

Denise is proceeded in death by her grandmother Stella Naomi Kuechler, grandfather George Henry Kuechler, and her nephew Adam Drew Stukes. She is survived by her daughters Lauren Elizabeth Richardson, and Amanda Marie Lafollette, her twin sister Dianne Francis Hovatter, brother Scott Alan Armstrong, granddaughters Grace Anne Melin and Ivy Ainsley LaFollette, grandsons Ian Charles Law, Austin Dean Richardson and Lincoln Xavier LaFollette. Denise’s nieces Ashly Neneman, Courtney Hovatter, Natalie Kuechler, and Hannah Kuechler. As well as her close family members including Jane Denny, Michael Denny, Anthony Denny, Anita Kramer, and her daughter Tessa Kramer, Cheryl Shook, and her four children Michael Neary, Tyler Denny, Desirai Shook and Levi Mael.

The Celebration of life for Denise will be held at Park Lawn Northland Chapel located
at 1640 N, Rte 291 Liberty, MO 64068 at 2:00pm.
