Cynthia L. Poe

February 24, 1961 — October 5, 2021

Cynthia “Cindy” Poe passed away quietly at her home in Blue Springs, Missouri, surrounded by her family. Cindy was born on February 24, 1961 to Richard “Dick” and Nadine Morningstar in Gary, Indiana. She was a loving wife to Gary Poe for 36 years, and a proud mother to Christina, Amanda, and Ryan. Her family later expanded, and she was an attentive nana to Madisen, Isla, Blake, Miles, and Maeve. Her life was spent caring for her family and her beloved dogs. Cindy was a faithful Christian and loved the Lord. Her strength and devotion to her faith never left her. She lived a dignified and full life, despite her brave battle with a progressive disease. Cindy never lost her beautiful and resilient spirit; she lived the last years of her life exactly the way she wanted. She was the absolute heart and soul of her family, and there is a void left which will never be filled. They will continue to carry on her legacy of unconditional love and support for each other.
