Donna Dee Purdin

Donna Dee Purdin, age 87, daughter of the late George and Maxine Loveland, Kansas City native, and loving friend to all who knew her, passed from this earth peacefully in her sleep on Thursday December 13th, 2022. Donna was stationed in Texas and served as corporal and communications specialist, third class, United States Air Force, and as a singer in the USAF band. She studied classical voice at the conservatory of music at UMKC. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. In her retirement she enjoyed her time as an active member of the Senior Barn Players. Married 62 years, and was preceded in death by her life - long love and husband Stephen "Jack" Purdin; and is survived by her son, David Patmore, a sister Melody Hessling of Valparaiso, Indiana, her two grandchildren, Justin and Amanda, and a great granddaughter. In memory of Donna and her forever childlike wonder, her family requests to please offer all donations to the Boy Scouts of America or the Salvation Army.

Visitation will be 9AM, with services to follow at 10AM, Thursday, October 20 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
