Duane and I started on the same day and worked for 20 years together at KCMSD. Bowled and golfed in a league together. Had some really great times. My condolences to the family.

We had some good times, from Chiefs tail gate parties, to our sons playing football, and you made that another tail gate party,,,;) .and you , Cherry and your beautiful children grilling and swimming with Jay and the rest of us. I'm sure he was welcoming you to heaven. Save a seat for me at your table.

To a special friend and kind person, Duane. We haven't talked in decades, yet I am so saddened to hear of your passing. I've spent the last 24 hours thinking about the fun times good heart and kind soul. Stewart still remembers your nice cars--and I remember how you and your Dad spent weekends cleaning your respective cars in the driveway for hours, until they were glistening. You two had a very special relationship. Remember when your Dad let us drive his fancy car all the way to South Padre Island?! Stew was also talking about you playing Atari with him--he wasn't even a teenager yet--he still remembers and enjoyed those times. Duane, thank you for the good times and I'm sorry for the tough ones. You will be missed. You touched me and a lot of people with your heart of gold. It's time for you to sing with your Dad and Marilyn. With love, Melissa <3

May the Lord wrap his arms around you Diane and keep you safe. Duane painted our master bedroom and bathroom, just 4 yrs ago. He did such a great job. Thinking of the family at this time.
