Trudy Lea Reed

Trudy Lea Reed, 69, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 11, 2019, at her home in the Kansas City Northland. She was born February 20, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, the youngest of four children of Truman and Tillie (Burns) Bixby. Along with her parents, Trudy was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Bixby.

Trudy leaves a large family she loved very much. They include her companion and partner of 23 years, Chuck Wright; children, Missy Richey, Katie Richey, Amber Reed, Jason Reed, Tim Wright, Chris Wright, Brittany Wright and Kayla Wright; grandchildren, Tommi Lea, Tayler, Jaycee, Tillie, Wyatt, Mac, Grant, Waylon, Bennett, Ryder, Destinee, Dylan, Lakota, Brianna, Haley, Landon, Hayden, Railynn and Xadrian; great grandchildren, Gracie, Warren, Gianna, Eloise and Wayne; sisters, Lillian Smith and Karen Horton; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all!
