John Mark Riedel

John Mark Riedel, 62, of Liberty, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2019, at his home with family at his side. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating John's life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, October 5, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, Liberty. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

John was born August 11, 1957, in Kansas City, MO. He worked as a Warehouse Supervisor for Guy's Foods in Liberty for 26 years and most recently as a Distribution Technician at Liberty Hospital for 18 years. John was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Riedel and Opal (Shottenkirk) Riedel.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, LeAnne (Cogan) Riedel; daughters, Rebecca Adams (Brandon) and Melinda Riedel; grandchildren, Landon, Haylee, Cooper, Kynlee, Adalynn and Hudson; brother, Donald Miner (Brenda); sister, Penne Blackburn (Robert); nephews, Shannon, Brad, Steven, Craig, and their families; as well as other family members and friends. John was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
