Wallace L. Rigsby

Wallace L. Rigsby, 81, passed November 11, 2019. Services will be 2PM, Saturday, November 16 at Park Lawn, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Bible Church, 1450 NW 950th Rd., Odessa, MO 64076, or to Michael Facciani, MJF Ministries, 426 Vermont St., Waterloo, IA 50701.

Wallace enjoyed car races, boat races, riding motorcycles, day trips, days on the boat, old tractors, farm equipment and had purchased an Allis Chalmers tractor that he had hoped to fix up in order to ride in the parade.  He also liked fire engines and was a fan of Coca Cola memorabilia.  He and his son David built model trains as a hobby.  Wallace worked as a conveyor system installer for industrial and mechanical companies.  This work took him all over the world including Egypt.  After retirement, he worked at both Lowes and Sutherlands Hardware Stores because he enjoyed being around people and helping them.

Wallace was preceded in death by his parents Keith Rigsby and Zella Hartsook; and his stepmother Alyce Rigsby.  Survivors include his brothers: Rod Rigsby and Ron Rigsby; children: Tina and Harry Anderson, Pamella and Mike Robinson, Deborah and Leon Bottemuller, David and Janet Rigsby and Richard Rigsby; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 6 nieces and nephews and 10 great nieces and great nephews.

Services will be 2PM, Saturday, November 16 at Park Lawn, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.
