Edward Allen Robb

Edward Allen Robb, 79, of Avondale, passed away July 12, 2019, at North Kansas City Hospital with family at his side. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Ed's life at 12 noon, on Wednesday, July 17, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville, MO.

Ed was born March 9, 1940, in Higbee, MO, the son of Elyie Alonzo and Lena Lorine (Embree) Robb. Ed served in the U.S. Army from 1958 until receiving honorable discharge on February 28, 1961. He retired as a machine operator for Vanguard Packaging in Kansas City.

Along with his parents, Ed was preceded in death by brothers, Denver Lee Robb and Joseph Eugene Robb; sisters, Marlene Quairry and Lucille Roberts; and grandson-in-law, Christopher Green.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Kathleen Ann (Hensley) Robb; children, Darrell Edward Robb (Andrea Louise), Kathy Louise Peters (Daniel Wayne), Lori Mae Greer (Harold David) and Kevin Glen Robb (Christina Marie); grandchildren, Joseph Darrell Robb (September Lee), Jessica Ashley Geniuk (David), April Lynn Jones (Zachery), Amber Elane Green, Thomas Matthew Greer, Nicole Lynn Oliver (Gene Taulbert), Derrick Tyler Robb and Caleb Glen Robb; great grandchildren, Aailyah Starr Robb, Lily Hisae Geniuk, Benjamin Adam Mynatt, Lyla Emarie Flud; Piper Lynn Jones, Olivia Syke Brooke Oliver and Lilly Marie Grace Oliver; great-great granddaughter, Penelope Ann Marie Newman; brother, Donald Robb; sisters, Violet Rogers and Diana Fawks; as well as other family members and friends.

Service Information:

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Ed’s life at 12 noon, on Wednesday, July 17, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville, MO.
