Roella Jean Suman

(Roella) Jean Suman, a resident of Overland Park, KS passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the age of 96. Those who knew her would find comfort knowing that she passed peacefully in her sleep with her cat at her side. Her love of cats was second only to that of her lifelong love of her husband, Ed Suman. She was passionate about the performing arts from playing the piano to teaching dance and baton lessons. She dedicated much of her later adult life to genealogy, learning the history of her family and where they came from. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Suman and eldest son, Jim Suman. She is survived by her younger two sons, John Suman and Paul Suman, and her six grandchildren, Jordan Suman, Joel Suman, Nicole DuFore, Donavon Suman, Blake Suman, and Shelby Suman. She will be buried next to her husband at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.
