ROSE MARY KELLEY
Rose Mary (Bradbury) Kelley, 89, a resident of Wexford Place in the Kansas City Northland, passed away February 10, 2024, at NorthCare Hospice House, surrounded by family.
Rose Mary was born September 24, 1934, in Holden, Missouri, the middle of three children of Robert E. and Leona Belle (Carney) Bradbury. She grew up in Holden and graduated from Holden High School. Rose Mary was united in marriage to David Hoyt Kelley on August 5, 1960.
Rose Mary was very generous with her time and talents. She was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church and the Assistance League-Kansas City. She also did administrative work at Central Missouri State and William Jewell colleges, as well as for South Liberty Baptist Church. Rose Mary was a talented seamstress, creating clothing for her children, grandchildren, and donating items to those in need.
Along with her parents, Rose Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David; and siblings, Jean Long and James Bradbury. Survivors include her children, Carolyn Kelley, Mark Kelley (Karen Jame), Bill Kelley (Julie), and Kathi Brewer (Cullen); seven grandchildren and two great granddaughters; as well as other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Rose Mary’s life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, February 17, at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1001 Sunset, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow at Glenridge Cemetery.
