Terry W. Rosewaren, 60, died June 7, 2020 at Saint Luke’s Hospice House, KCMO following a lengthy illness. Terry was born July 8, 1959, the son of John R Rosewaren and Marcia (Baker) Buttrey.

Terry was born July 8, 1959 in Richmond, MO and lived most of his adult life in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Terry was mechanically inclined and worked as a laborer for various employers over the years while making friends and acquaintances who were always impressed with his work ethic and natural abilities to fix everything from cars to computers. Terry appreciated simple things like a cold Pepsi, a good cigar and a bottle of Tabasco was always close by. Terry was nonjudgmental and accepting of others regardless of their background or circumstance and remembered as someone always willing to lend a helping hand.

Terry is survived by his mother, Marcia Buttrey, Ooltewah, TN, two brothers Keith Rosewaren, Blue Springs, MO and Mark Rosewaren, West Jordan, UT, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, John R Rosewaren, Richmond, MO, paternal grandparents, Clyde and Marjorie Rosewaren, Richmond, MO, maternal grandparents, Charles Baker, Richmond, MO, and Lorena Beaudoin, Lake Elsinore, CA.

A memorial service and inurnment is scheduled at a later time in Chattanooga TN. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the American Heart Association or Saint Luke’s Hospice House, KCMO.

I am so sorry I did not make it in time to say goodbye. I'm so thankful that we were able to spend some time together and that we were communicating again. You have always been and always will be close to my heart. Rest in peace my son. I love you. Mom
