Ruby Helen Turner

Ruby Helen (St.Clair) Turner of Kansas City Mo. Passed away peacefully Oct 18th, 2024, at her home. Preceded in death by her husband Robert Turner May 18, 2013, and son Jeffrey Turner Dec 8th, 2022

 She was surrounded by a lot of her large family for several days prior to and following her passing.

Ruby was born in Osage City, Ks. June 19, 1927, and was raised in Melvern, Ks and Iola Ks prior to moving to the Kansas City area where she met her husband to be, Robert J Turner. Ruby was working at Thompson’s Café when a charming man named Bob handed her a note saying “if you’d like to date me keep the card”, the rest is history, married June 2nd, 1950.

Active members of St. Louis and St. Augustine’s Parish and Marlborough community. She is survived by John, Jerry, Richard (Donna) Karen, Tom, David (Nancy) and Cindy (Mike) and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and friends.

 Services held at Christ the King at 85th & Wornall on Friday Oct. 25th, visitation at 8am followed by Mass Service at 9:30. Contributions and donations can be made to Kansas City Hospice.
