Ruth M. Eaton

Ruth M. Eaton, 91, passed away February 21, 2024.  Ruth was born May 13, 1932 in Ridgeway, Missouri to Charles F. Taraba and Mary (Lowe) Taraba.  She graduated from Ridgeway High School, class of 1950.

Ruth married Charles R. Eaton on November 19, 1951.  Of this union, there were three children born.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles R. Eaton, brother Gilbert Taraba and his wife Maxine, brother Kenneth Taraba and great grandson Robert McCormac.  Survivors include her daughter Mary Eaton McMillian; daughter Pamela Eaton; son Charles “Chuck” Eaton and his wife Nancy; grandchildren Lisa McCormac and her husband Bob, Norman Joe Caraker, Sara McMillian, David McMillian, Max Bigler and his wife Nicole, Corey Bigler, Katie Dillion and her husband Patrick, Melisa Eaton, Thomas Eaton, Cameron Eaton, Elizabeth Eaton, Loshton Eaton, Kynzlea Eaton and Kylie Eaton; and many great grandchildren, family members and friends.

Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Tuesday, February 27 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; entombment in Memorial Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House.
