We will forever appreciate the friendship we've had for over the past 50+ years-- from the card games in our apartments on East Harry, the occasional visits and dinners through the years, and certainly the many discussions we've enjoyed about "fixing" the world's problems. It didn't matter if it had been a week or and year, we always picked up right where we left off. We too will miss him, but only for a while. In the mean time, lean of family and friends-- we're a phone call away.

Oh, Dear Connie- Still can’t believe it. Edd was such a fine guy. So thankful Tania and crew introduced us. We’ll sure miss our neighborhood Grandpa. Hugs to all of you. C, C, MJ & W

So sorry for your loss. I knew Ed during his career with Kansas City Water Services Engineering Department and in his second career with Ace Pipe Company. I treasure all the personal conversations we had at trade shows that served to solve all the problems in our Country and the world. His passion was contagious. He gave me a pocket book of the US Constitution that will always remind me of the good times spent with Ed.

Connie - have been thinking of you and Shannon and Tania since Sunday. I was really sad to learn of Ed's passing. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Kansas City in 1973 and went to work for Bob O'meara at the Water Department. Bob and Ed and Jane and the Water crew became like family. Little did I know that Ed and I would go along together for a long time as co-workers. He was always kind to me and I loved how he was truly his own man. We used to but heads over contracts and City requirements but in the end we were always glad to see one another and catch up on families. I ran into him after we were both retired from the City and that same fun of catching up on families and seeing how the other was doing was there. I'm really grateful we got to go along together for a time. I will be holding you all close and remembering. Blessings

Connie, I just heard of Ed's passing from Steve Hontz. I am so sorry for your loss. Ed will be missed by many that would consider him a good friend. If there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to ask. I have let the MWEA Collection Systems committee know of his passing. I will see you all on Friday.
