John B. Samer

John Bacil Samer, 60, of Belton, MO passed away May 24th, 2022. Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Friday, June 3 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.

John Bacil Samer was born October 21st, 1961, North Kansas City. He was the youngest child of Mary L. Tye & Andy E. Samer. John was married to Julie Lynn Samer for 24 years. He was the father of one step son and three daughters.

John is survived by step son Richard W. Reynolds, and daughter Jennifer N. Bailey, husband Sean Bailey and grandson Noah Bailey. Also by daughters Christina C. Samer and Stephanie A. Samer. He was also survived by his brother Alan Samer, nephew Curtis Samer, and niece Natalie Samer.

John was preceded in death by his father Andy E. Samer, mother Mary L. Tye, sister Mary A. Pieratt (born Samer) and wife Julie Lynn Samer (born Hill).

John's hobbies included making dad jokes, he collected Coca Cola items, building computers and around the house projects. He was an avid lover of movies, his favorite being the Star Wars Trilogy. He worked many years for Fike Co in Blue Springs MO, Followed by working for the Elecsys Co for 1 year. He was an eagle scout and a member of the heroine Masonic Lodge #104.
