Ruth Janell Saunders

On May 23, 2022, while in Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO, Ruth Janell Saunders gained her angel wings to be with her mom in heaven. Ruth was one of two daughters to the parents of Danny and stepmother Ruby Martin and Patricia D. Bryan (deceased) and stepfather Hal Bryan of Dodge City, KS, born on Aug 28, 1970. She is survived by her father Danny and wife Ruby from Panama City, Panama, Sister Dana and husband Hugo of Plains, KS, James and wife Misty of Dodge City, KS and Brother Edgar and wife Stefanie of Bremerton, WA, she had two daughters Brittany Hendershot of Garden City, KS and Ashley Decker of Burlington, KS and son Joshua Hendershot of Garden City, KS. Ruth spent most of her childhood moving around due to her father being in the U.S. Air Force. Ruth settled down and finally called Great Bend, KS her forever home and became friends with Eric and many more, she loved her cat KitKat. Ruth became a member of a local church and community center aspiring others to remember and enjoy life and the joys that come every day fulfilling life dreams. Ruth earned a nursing degree, but never had the chance to use it. Ruth was loved by her entire family and friends and will be truly missed.

A celebration of life will be held in Great Bend, KS later with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery next to her mom later as well.
