Juanita F. Schauperl

Juanita Faye Schauperl, 90, passed away on September 2, 2020 at Redwood of Raymore Nursing Home. The visitation will be on Saturday, September 12 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with the service starting at 1:00 pm and the graveside service immediately following at Memorial Park at 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64138.

Juanita was born on February 10, 1930, in Cass County, Missouri. She attended Garden City High School. She worked 30 plus years at Western Electric in Lee’s Summit as a Layout Operator. She married Carl Schauperl in 1948, and they raised four children in the 57 years they were married. She was an avid bowler and participated in many national tournaments. She and Carl loved to travel and spent many winters in southern Texas. Juanita also enjoyed reading, playing cards, and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her mother, Lenora Loven, her son, David Newman, and her sister, Edna Ashburn. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Carl W. “Bill” Schauperl, Jr and Bonnie of Las Vegas, NV, and Gary A. Schauperl and Melissa of Raymore, MO, and daughter Carolyn Davidson of Fort Worth, Texas, plus nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
