Fr. John Gouger, C.Ss.R., Holy Ghost Church, Houston, Texas:

My heart goes out to the Schroeder family. This has been an extremely difficult year and losing such a beautiful man makes it all the more mournful. All my love goes out to you Bridget, Jenifer, Gretchen, and Chad. I'm comforted by the many fond memories of you all and your parents.

David Gunter

Our condolences to Bridget (my college roommate) and the rest of Jerry's family. May it bring you some comfort to know that your mom and dad are reunited and now watching over their family. Hugs and prayers for you all as you go through this difficult time.

I worked with Jerry and he was such a nice man. He introduced me to Maryann's law, which is "You can always find what you're not looking for." It always works!

I was lucky enough to work with Jerry's daughter, Gretchen. When I met Jerry and Barbara, I saw from where her sparkle came. Jerry had wit and a great heart. May his family share all the good memories over and over to warm their hearts.

Mary White

I did not know Jerry very well... but I really appreciated Jerry and Barb bringing his parents, Marie and Francis to our wedding in Topeka. There was a threat of Snow that ended in flurries only, but they came anyway. Rest In Peace. Eternal Rest grant to him oh Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him. Go Chiefs!
