Elizabeth E. Shahan

Betty Shahan was a Daughter, a Mom, a Sister and a Best Friend. She lived her life on her terms, loving hard and deep. Her concern and compassion for others was genuine. On her 2022nd earthly birthday, she was rewarded with a whole and completely healthy body when she entered the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She joined precious loved ones who got there first including her parents, Francis & Donna Shahan, her Sister, Linda Robertson, grandbabies Dylan Blystone and Levi Brummett, as well as Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins, not to mention countless precious friends. She leaves to mourn her passing, son Justin Shahan and daughter Kasaralyn (John) Blystone and family. She leaves brothers Larry Shahan of Ohio and Roy Shahan of Belton, and her sister Reba Shahan of Belton, plus beloved nieces and nephews as well as her Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees, Gizmo and her granddog Scooby. She will be especially remembered for her tenacious spirit and determination to always make our day better, despite her current physical condition. A graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
