Sharan Ness

Sharan K. Ness, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away September 22, 2024. Sharan was born to Clarence and Ardath Vogeler on March 20, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sharan spent her working years in the banking industry as a loan officer.  She was passionate about her work and excelled in her field. She was also passionate about crocheting.  She could crochet almost anything and spent a lot of time making baby hats and blankets for newborns.  Her handiwork also included afghans, blankets, dish cloths, scarves and so much more.  Often times, you could find Sharan supporting the Royals and Chiefs, as a proud Kansas Citian, and if you were one of the lucky ones, you got to indulge in her famous biscuits and gravy.  Sharan was a person who held onto many childhood friendships and loved to laugh and be funny.

Sharan is preceded in death by her parents, and sister Sandy Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Ness Judy, niece Shirley Melendez, nephew Eddy Glaze (Beth), and friend Kathleen Grace

Sharan will be missed by many.
