Steven D. Sheets

Steven Dean Sheets, 82, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home October 15, 2022.

Steve was born August 30, 1940 in Van Buren, Missouri and lived most of his life in the Kansas City / Lee’s Summit area. He was a retired Teamster retiring from Consolidated Freightways. He had a fun loving spirit, was a passionate old car enthusiast, owner of a ’51 Mercury, member of South 71 Cruisers, Antique Automobile Club of America and KC Timing Association. He was a loving father, Papa, brother and friend.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Goldie Sheets; and brothers Larry and Tommy Sheets.

He is survived by his daughter Ashlie; grandchildren Jaiden Goodman, Chenoa Simmons and Zayvian Sheets-Lindsay; brother Danny; sisters Betty, Sue, Linda and Karen; and many family, friends and loved ones.

Visitation will be 6-8PM, Thursday, October 20 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.  Funeral services will be 10AM, Friday, October 21 at Park Lawn Funeral Home; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
