Sandra L. Shelton

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Sandra Lee (Kirke) Shelton passed away.

Sandy was born in December 11, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri to Stanley Kirke and Virginia (Kirke) Taylor. She was a 1962 graduate of Ruskin high school. She worked 25 years for Forrest T. Jones in Kansas City, Missouri.

Sandy was a master Scrabble player, could finish a crossword puzzle in minutes, could knit like the wind and loved challenging her WIT watching Jeopardy! She was a great lover of animals and had many Schnauzers and numerous cats over the years.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Stanley, mother Virginia, and her husband Michael Shelton. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Fleischman, her husband Christopher, and their son William Buster; her brother James Kirke, his daughters Allison Kirke Shelley, her children Dayton and Carys, Missy Kirke, Bailey Kirke (Andrew Jackson) and their son Legend.

Sandy also leaves behind her two best friends, Karla Kuchenmeister and Margo Banks.
