Sherie Lillie Earl

August 6, 1949 — March 20, 2025

Sherie Earl (Miller), 75, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on March 20, 2025. Sherie was born on August 6, 1949, in Independence, MO to James and Daisy Miller.

After high school graduation, Sherie became one of the youngest TWA flight attendants at the age of 19, stationed in Chicago, IL. Her father, James Miller worked for TWA for over 25 years, they shared a love for airplanes and aviation. After leaving TWA, Sherie moved back to the Kansas City area in which she worked in the Trust Department at UMB Bank for 11 years before taking on her “best job” as Mother and Housewife.

Sherie married Mike Earl in 1978. Over the span of the next eight years, Mike and Sherie had four incredible children. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, patient, and resilient mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and wanted nothing more for them than to be happy. She was a generous, witty, and devoted individual who loved her family and friends dearly. Throughout the years, she was an active and dedicated member of Our Lady of Lords and often volunteered at the church and school. After her children were grown, Sherie joined Jack Stack Barbecue in 2008. She worked in the catering department where she “met and worked with some of the best people, her Jack Stack Family”.

Sherie is preceded in death by her father James Miller, mother Daisy Miller, and brother Phillip Silence. She is survived by her husband Mike Earl, son Michael Earl (wife Jamie), daughter Denise Earl (spouse Ibrahim), son Matthew Earl (wife Elizabeth), son Gregory Earl (wife Johanna), and eight beloved grandchildren, Abby Earl, Chris Cole, James Earl, Gregory Earl, Ivan Earl, Helen Earl, Ramsey Al-Bureni, and Lillie Al-Bureni.

Memorial and Funeral is scheduled at Park Lawn Funeral Home to be held for immediate family in celebration of Sherie's life. The family would like to thank all of Sherie’s friends and caregivers for their love, care and dedication.
