Shiela I’Ann Hall, wife of Floyd Hall, and daughter of late Eva E. and Robert A. Lehenbauer, was born November 13, 1937, and passed away on her 86th birthday surrounded by many loving family members. Sheila grew up in Marshfield, Missouri and after graduating high school, she bravely moved to the Kansas City area, where she met and married her loving husband of over 60 years, Floyd Hall. Floyd and Shiela happily raised four children, with Shiela taking the role as a loving and happy stay-at-home homemaker. As her children got into high school, Shiela enjoyed several jobs including with Hickory Farms, Starlight Theatre, and she worked for years at Wal-Mart, making many dear friends, until she decided to retire. Floyd and Shiela were very active in Floyd’s local Union Chapter for years, where Shiela was well-known for her volunteer work and most-especially for her delicious homemade dinner rolls she often brought to union dinners! Shiela was an avid gardener with an incredible green-thumb (that’s doesn’t really describe it – she had magic green-thumb fairy dust running through her veins when it came to growing things), including tending to many plants from her childhood farm that have been around for over 100 years and are still at the home Floyd and Shiela shared for most of their marriage. Shiela was an incredible friend and caregiver to so many. She was always cooking a meal for a friend or neighbor, visiting and tending to sick friends and neighbors, many times making daily visits to those who needed company or care to make certain they weren’t alone or lacking. Shiela loved listening to her gospel music while tending to her plants in her sunroom or painting rocks or crocheting a masterpiece, and Shiela would have loved the fact that her family all sat together last night, enjoying pulling out and listening to many of her favorite songs in order to carefully select the music for her Service. Shiela is survived by her loving husband, Floyd Hall, and all four of their children, Teena Wackerman (married to Kevin Wackerman, and their son Conner Wackerman), Tim Hall (Married to Terrie Hall and their son Richard Conn), Troy Hall (married to Michele Hall and their children Taylor Robertson, Noah Hall and Halie Hall), and Teresa Bates (married to Carl Bates and their children Marissa Bates, Sierra (Bates) White, and Brianna Bates. Shiela is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Hendrixx Hall, Willow and Winnie White, and the impending birth of her fourth great grandchild, Clover Pummill. Shiela was incredibly caring, loving, very ornery and super feisty, and she will be incredibly missed by her family and friends.
