Shirley Ann Sanders

Shirley Ann Sanders, age 86, of Kansas City, MO., passed away August 14, 2021. Shirley was born February 25, 1935, in Joplin, Missouri, to Homer and Nettie Brotherton.

She worked for many years at Western Envelope Company in Kansas City.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Herbert; her daughter, Deborah Ann Sanders; son-in-law, Paul Garcia; grandson, Joey "Jay" Soriano; brothers: Roy Brotherton, Homer Lee Brotherton, Jr.; sisters: Ethel Quillin, Imogene Wade, Betty Niles, and Wanda Beck.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Garcia; grandchildren: Joseph Sanders. Ronnie Roxanna, Tammy Soriano; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great great grandchildren; 5 step children; numerous nieces, nephews and loving extended family members.

Visitation will be 11AM, Firday September 3 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; 12PM graveside service to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial tributes may be directed to her daughter, Rhonda Garcia, to aid in offsetting funeral expenses.
