David O. Snyder

David O. Snyder, age 89, passed away October 25, 2018. Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Micah Sievenpiper officiating.

David served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his discharge he worked for his brother-in-law at Keeny and Son Furniture from 1953-1970. He then became employed with The City of Kansas City in January of 1970 where he started as a Revenue Officer and retired as Chief Revenue Officer in October of 1993. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

David is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doris Snyder; daughter and her husband, Kathy and Tom Morgan; son, David W. Snyder; grandchildren: Faith Morgan, Laura Morgan; niece, Jeanie Keeny; nephew, Larry Keeny.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maude; and sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Bill Keeny.
