Alex C. Sokol

Alex C. Sokol, 59, passed away June 12, 2021. Alex was born January 11, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri to Alex M. Sokol and Maurine “Katherine” (Lovely) Sokol. He was educated in culinary arts, architecture and music. Alex loved being around people and was a connoisseur of all things music, food and art. He was an all around good guy.

Alex was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son Justin Freeland-Sokol and wife Nardia Sokol; grandchildren Olivia and Maxavian; brother William Sokol; and Alex’s many friends.

A memorial visitation will be 1-3PM, Saturday, June 26 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.

Celebration of life will begin at 6PM, Saturday, June 26 at the Southside Bar and Grill, 1144 W. 103rd Street, Kansas City, Missouri.
