Marsha E. “Martie” Sparks

Marsha “Martie” Sparks, age 67, of Independence, MO passed away on February 26, 2020 at her home. Visitation will be at Park Lawn Funeral Home 8251 Hillcrest Rd Kansas City, MO 64138 from 1-2pm Wednesday March 4, 2020. Graveside service to follow immediately after at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Martie was born January 31, 1953 in Granite City, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents Benton and Darlene Boyd. She is survived by her brother Walter Boyd and his wife Liz and Walter’s children Benton and Jason and their families; her daughter Gina and her husband Ken and their son Cameron; her stepchildren Emma Washam and her husband Jerry and their children Jason, Jessica, and JJ and their families; Fred Sparks and his daughter Nicki Jo; Karen Sparks and her daughter Hanna.

She was loved by many and will be missed.
