Jeanne E. “Sunshine” Squire

Sunshine Squire, 63, passed away December 7, 2018 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri.  Ms. Squire was born in Queens, New York.  She graduated from the Universal School of Life with honors.  Through the years, she made her home on Long Island, New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, Missouri and Florida.  Recently, she had returned to Kansas City.  She is survived by her daughter Jenna Starr and wife April Essex; her son Sean M.L. Buckley and friend Elizabeth Oberle; sister Nancy Squire; and many cousins including her favorite, Doris Harris Mark.  She was preceded in death by her parents Earl LeRoy and Gladys Ann (Schick) Squire and her stepmother Elsie (Lotz) Squire.

A memorial service will be held at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10AM.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City (hsgkc.org).
