Steven L. Brittain

Steve Brittain, 64, of Kansas City, MO, sadly left us on Sunday, September 24, 2023 following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Brittain (Burge), two sons, Skeeter Brittain (wife, Maria Brittain) and Pete Brittain (wife, Morgan Brittain), mother, Opal Brittain, sister, Nancy Shelton (husband, Perry Shelton), brother, Rick Brittain (wife, Cindy Brittain), sister-in-law, Teri Young (Burge), brother-in-law, Richard Burge, 10 nephews and nieces, 15 great nieces and nephews and many cousins, extended family and friends. While Steve loved quietly, his love for each was immense. He loved the Chiefs, Royals, and Mizzou. He passionately coached little league baseball for many years and was a positive influence for many kids. He was dedicated to his craft and built many homes in KC and Texas. He made many sacrifices for his family and friends and the impact on the people that knew him and loved him will last forever. A memorial picnic will be held in his honor at 1PM, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Longview Lake, Shelter House #6.
