Iva L. Stevenson

Iva Loraine Stevenson, 82, was born on December 12, 1939 as the 3rd child of five to the late Henry Preston and Una Vernice Williams in Lathrop, MO. She went peacefully to meet the Lord on September 20, 2022. Iva was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald and John Williams; two sisters, Benaree Williams and Flossie Moore; and her second born, Allen Stevenson Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter and son, Rhonda Stevenson and Curtis (Julie) Stevenson, loving grandchildren, Shazmay, Rashad Stevenson, Shari Watson, Ashley Stevenson, Audra (Jason) Vroman, Jacob (Kelsey) Schmitt, Tyler Schmitt, Adrian Johnson, Consuela (Dion) Jordan, and Christina Watson. She is further survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and two lifelong friends - Mike Deister and Freda Shadlow. Iva will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Saturday, October 8 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Green Lawn Cemetery.
