Bernard John Stockman

Bernard “Bernie” John Stockman succumbed to his battle with cancer on Saturday September 8, 2018. He was born April 28, 1952 to Bernice (Kaiser) and Leonard Stockman. Survivors include his beloved wife Gayl; daughters, Petra Davidson (Keith Davidson) and Erin Stockman (Mark Dowdy); grandchildren, Nathanial Stockman, Aadric Dowdy, Cody Ninneman, Breeaunna Dowdy, Isaac Ninneman, Isabelle Davidson, Eleora Davidson; siblings, William Charles Stockman (Marilyn), Dorothy Hockemeier (Neil, deceased), Ray Stockman (Vincentine), Mary Jane Daniel (Mike), Rita Ogden (Vern, deceased), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas Stockman (Barbara), and Richard Stockman (Helena); and grandson, Joseph Stockman. During his time with us he was a US Postal worker, lay minister, and beloved husband, father, family member and friend to all who knew him. Services are to be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church 15315 West 151st St., Olathe, KS 66062 at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please bring canned goods to be donated to local food pantries.
