Cynthia Ann (Crane) Stokes, 85, of Platte City, MO, passed away June 2, 2019, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, June 12, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Private interment at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Cynthia was born October 2, 1933, in Albuquerque, NM. She worked many years in Accounting for Sears and Roebuck, and later Harding Glass. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Richard DeWitt Crane and Teva Sandoval Crane; husband of 66 years, Jack Samuel Stokes; grandson, Jeremy Michael Stokes; sisters, Faye West and Jane Marcey; an infant brother; and niece, Vivian Baker.
Survivors include her son, Richard Aaron Stokes (Anna); grandchildren, Kristy Marie Hopkins (Matt) and Jennifer Ann Hilger (Tony); great grandchildren, Michael, Cassie and Parker; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Service Information:Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, June 12, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Private interment at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
