Judith Ann Streu

Judith Ann (Marshall) Streu, 78, of Liberty, MO, passed away at St. Luke's Northland Hospital on August 5, 2019.

Judy was born on October 14, 1940 in Marhsall, MO to William Worten and Evelyn Roach Marshall. She graduated from MU in 1962, was an Alpha Delta Pi, and was active in the sorority for many years. Judy was united in marriage to John R. Streu on October 27, 1963.

In Liberty, John and Judy owned and operated Trimco Cabinets for many years. Judy was a member of the PEO Sisterhood, was active in the Soroptimist Club of Liberty and the Assistance League of Kansas City.

Judy was a breast cancer survivor two times and spent countless hours supporting the American Cancer Society, where she led the Daffodil Days campaign in Liberty.  Judy loved her family and her community, always giving of her time and talents. Her passion and hobby was antiques, in particular homemade, hand-stitched quilts. She was an excellent knitter and made many wonderful handcrafted gifts for family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, John R. Streu; mother, Evelyn and brother, BJ Marshall, both of Marshall, MO; sons, Chris and Matt; grandchildren, Lexie and husband Tyler Bosley and Jack Streu; as well as other family members and friends. Judy will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Park Lawn Northland Chapel in Liberty from 1-2 pm Saturday, August 10. Graveside services will follow the visitation at Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
