Pat was a big part of my upbringing. I remember her running along side me as I peddled faster and faster on a bike with no training wheels. Going to grandma and Pats house was AWESOME especially in the springtime when Maxine the cat would always have a new litter of kittens. Pat babysat us a lot. We watched Royals games and had homemade ice cream on the side deck of the house. She worked hard in the yard and after mowing the grass she would wash up and put on a fresh moo moo and perfume. I catch myself doing the same ... with a different moo moo or dress of course. Pat was strong willed and she did it her way. May she Rest In Peace in her favorite moo moo.

Pat was my best friend in grade school. She was a third cousin. May she Rest In Peace.
